SO we have been busy busy. but here's what we have been up to.
Sunday we helped with the kids before church and then the kids at kids ministry in the morning and also had a children's ministry meeting picnic in the afternoon. soooo pretty much kids are our life here. We even attended how to teach your kids to pray meeting last night. It's been interesting being one of the mom's ;). Some of our favorite children's quotes include
"I don't want anyone to pray for me" shouted by Owen age 4
"Dear God I pray that you will send Uncle Ben a good wife soon" Mary Claire age 5 (we later found out that Uncle Ben is only 24 ;) ;)
"It feels hot going down... I liiiike it" Caleb age 8 after chugging more wine than Nicole can drink in one sitting.
On Sunday we also discovered some people our age which was fun. We met a girl named Kate from UT. small world! She is really cool and we hope to hang out with her soon ;) thats if we don't flake on her again by realizing that we can't text message in Spain. oops.
Monday we went to the FUN park with the family which included backing down a one way
street and Riekje running out of the car and stopping traffic just so we could find
it!
Once we got to the park it was great... Caleb had the BEST DAY OF HIS LIFE EVER!! He loves rollercoasters and
loved that we would go with him on any of them..
we even found a starbucks when we went into Madrid after the park. it was like home. and they even spoke english to us. bless their hearts. haha.
