spain is not that great when you nap all day. and are sick. that has been the life of kate stafford in spain these last 2 days..... it stinks!
the whole house is actually
sick.. fluish stuff, stomach stuff. all from the SCO conference. i wish the bug would just SCOot it's way outta here! so there has been no traveling on our off time. just resting. i miss my traveling buddy.
i have been trying to serve my little dear. bringing her crackers, soup, lovvveee. maybe tomorrow she will feel better!
tonight we did get to go visit proyecto bernabe. i just love that place. you can tell there is real love there. you know, not the fake kind of throw stuff at people in need kind of love, but the trying to help people have a better life kind of love. its great & the women who volunteer there are so wonderful.
we were sent to help out & take pictures of this project to raise support & it was a good time.... there weren't as many people as before but we got to meet some of the men. they were so funny. when the two men on the left were leaving they said "thank you"... when the women replied "you are welcome", they responded with a big grin, "WELCOME to spain!" i think they had heard us use one of the only English words they knew & they were excited to welcome us! ha.
when asked to take a picture, the man on the right put the pants he was trying on like a cape. love it!We also did a little more babysitting. Here is a picnic we had and nicole was doing the babysitting and kate was half there at this point. haha.

Kate! I am praying that you'll get over your stomach flu thingy quick!! and Nicole, thanks for taking care of our Kate. Sounds like you all are working hard and having fun too. When Emi and I were there - we were some obsessed with H&M too. And it is a bargain ...
You 2 must get to Barcelona if you can - it's wonderful as well.
