do you have a boyfriend?

in the morning we went to the staff meeting & after we heard the plans for the next couple of weeks, they had just one question for us, "so do you have a boyfriend?" the staff then proceeded to tell us the only way to learn spanish while we were here is to find a spanish boyfriend. ohhh, so its just that easy!!!

we then spent the rest of the day exploring madrid with our awesome tour guide, ashley. she is the other intern here for 6 months, but lives in the city with two YOUNGLIFE girls. their aparment is ohh so cute. all ikea stuff. everyone shops at ikea

for house stuff here. very simple & clean lines.

we walked all around madrid, got a couple of stare & looked completely american.

 some people yelled at kate. they just love her blond hair here. 

at lunch, kate's friend matt from ut met up with us & we ended up having a table full of texans. a table full of texans in madrid, spain. how often does that happen?

we got to sit at the royal palace gardens & put our feet in the water & enjoy life.

 then tons of british kids came over. 

some field trip or something. there are tons of people from uk here. they says its like texans visiting mexico. that makes sense.
